After becoming engaged with your choice of silver and CZ ring, you’ll then begin the bespoke process to create your custom engagement ring.

Introducing our Proposal Ring.
You’re ready to ask the most important question of your life – and when you picture your perfect proposal, you know you want to do it with a ring in hand. But you also know your beloved would want to help design or choose their perfect engagement ring.
The answer? A proposal ring.
Sometimes known as a ‘stand-in engagement ring’ or ‘placeholder engagement ring’, a proposal ring allows you to pop the question with a ring your partner can wear until they commit to the real thing.
A temporary engagement ring allows your intended to enjoy the excitement of a surprise proposal, showing off their newly-accessorised ring finger immediately. They then get to be part of the design and creation of their love-forever engagement ring.
Our selection of six beautiful proposal rings are created in recycled silver and cubic zirconia, with either gold or rhodium plating. Crafted to the same pattern as some of our most beloved engagement ring styles, they offer a stunning stand-in ring while we create your ideal piece together.
What happens to your proposal ring is up to you. Some couples are happy to return their temporary engagement ring once the final design has taken its place on the finger. Others want to keep the ring as a memento of the proposal, moving it to the right hand or keeping it as a special heirloom.
If you’re happy to return your proposal ring, the full cost is redeemable against your bespoke engagement ring. For those who want to keep the ring, you will simply need to pay a 50% deposit to start a new bespoke project.
Ordering your proposal ring is simple. If you know your partner’s size, Jacks will create a custom proposal ring, for delivery in four weeks. If you’re not sure (or are in a rush!) Jacks will supply in our stock size, delivered in two weeks.
Just like any piece of Jacks Turner jewellery, the proposal ring will be presented in a beautiful branded ring box.
All rings are handmade in our Bristol jewellery workshop.

When you request jewellery from Jacks Turner website your items are handmade to order. Our standard delivery time for gold ‘made to order’ jewellery is about 4 weeks.
Silver jewellery we usually have some in stock, these will be marked with the ‘Ready to Ship’ tab and will be posted out within 2 working days. Silver jewellery not marked ‘ready to ship’ can be made-up fairly quickly so allow about 2 weeks. During ‘out of season’ periods it can be possible for us to fulfil an order under 2 weeks, so please contact us if you need your piece of jewellery sooner, and we will try to make it happen for that date.
If delivery within four weeks is not possible due to special circumstances, you will be given another projected timescale, and the option to cancel your order should you wish.
Bespoke jewellery commissions please allow 6-10 weeks. Time dependant on the complexity of the design.
Delivery charge – Free Shipping on all UK orders
All deliveries to UK addresses will be sent by Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Next Day service, which guarantees next working day delivery before 1pm. This also insures the item against loss. All UK deliveries will require a signature upon receipt.
Deliveries outside the UK please request a shipping quote.
