11 custom designer engagement rings made by Jacks Turner in 2023

A gentleman came into the studio to choose the gemstones from Jacks’ stock for his Diamond Trilogy Ring.

Jacks is always on the lookout for interesting diamonds - she finds imperfections to be beautiful, and loves using the “salt and pepper” diamonds in her jewellery, mixing them with clear diamonds.

The end result for this commission is a true Jacks Turner look - a unique and contemporary engagement ring.

These diamonds belonged to a lovely customer who wanted to remodel her traditional ring into a style similar to Jacks’ more contemporary Diamond Eternity Ring.

The customer’s stunning champagne diamonds were just the perfect size for the design - they look amazing and so luxurious all lined up together.

This ring is based on Jacks Turner’s signature Le Lac Diamond Ring, with some specially selected gemstones, made for her friend Fran to give to his partner.

The round stone in the centre of the soft, hammered-texture silver ring is a sapphire, while the two smaller round stones are salt and pepper rose-cut diamonds.

The blue pear-shaped diamond is heat-treated to create the colour, and the other pear is a very included diamond, which has lots of interesting little brown inclusions running through.

Each of these gorgeous stones symbolises a member of their family.

The Oval Diamond Ring was the desired engagement ring for a lovely lady, who came in with her partner.

Jacks asked her partner if she was going to have an engagement ring too. She didn’t have a clear idea, just a few images, so Jacks followed with a few questions about what she might like.

She loved the idea of the traditional claw setting, but wanted something a little different. Jacks happened to have some peachy champagne diamonds that had just come in, which were ideal.

The concept was tied together by both women having the same wedding ring in different golds - one was platinum, the other was rose gold.

This textured engagement ring was technically made in 2022, but it was resized by Jacks in 2023. It’s such an unusual, beautiful ring, we had to include it.

A gentleman commissioned the ring to surprise his partner. He showed Jacks photos of what he wanted, discussed the texture, and chose from Jacks’ stock of gemstones.

The rose-cut hexagon diamond slice is a light brown colour, and the pear diamond is slightly yellow.

By 2023, the band needed to be resized to sit correctly with the wedding ring.

This was a simple and straightforward commission - a gentleman had seen Jacks Turner’s Oval Diamond Ring on the website, and knew it was the right engagement ring to propose with.

After a consultation at her Bristol studio, Jacks then sourced an oval diamond that was just right, before setting it within the clean and minimalist ring design.

Each of these rings was made with gold remodelled from a customer’s jewellery. She wanted to wear 4 rings all together, so Jacks crafted each one a little differently.

The 10 little stones set in the hammered band are black diamonds, which Jacks suggested during the consultation, and the diamond in the Hammered Diamond Engagement Ring design was the customer’s own.

The fact that the customer loved it so much made it a really fun remodel for Jacks.

These rings were actually made for two separate customers who had gold and diamonds they wanted remodelling, but the rings just look so gorgeous together.

Both rings are based on Jacks’ Le Lac Ring design, inspired by the forest she visits in France every summer - the colours reflect the sumptuous greens and blues of forest and the lake.

Jacks sourced these vibrant blue diamond slices for both commissioned rings, and created the unique composition of the stones.

Similar to Jacks’ modern Geo Claw Diamond Ring design, this simple engagement ring has a delicate claw setting holding a modest diamond.

It’s quite a contrast to the more maximalist Le Lac rings Jacks designs, though this hammered silver ring is also inspired by the beauty of the Côtes-d’Armor coastline.

The textural detail reflects the landscape of the region of France; the result is this beautifully minimal and modern engagement ring.
